About Alerts Viewer

The Alerts Viewer enables you to view and manage your current and historical business alerts within Aloha Insight. You can view your alerts interactively in a directory structure similar to that used in Windows® Explorer. You can interact with your alerts by sending the alert to another user to view in their Alerts Viewer, or send the alert to the email address of another user. The alerts you are viewing in Alerts Viewer are specific to you. For example, if you delete an alert from Alerts Viewer, you are not deleting the alert from Aloha Insight, just from your Alerts Viewer. Another user who received the same alert can still view the alert in their Alerts Viewer.

The alerts you view in Alerts Viewer are the alerts configured in the Alerts Setup wizard. When you create alerts in the Alerts Setup wizard, you can send the alert to an email address, cell phone and/or pager, or to Alerts Viewer.

In Alerts Viewer you can:

•	View the total number of alerts you have, including all historical alerts.

•	View the content of the alert as it was defined in the Alerts Setup wizard.

•	Send the alert to another user to view in Alerts Viewer.

•	Send the alert to another user via email.

•	Delete a specific alert.

•	Delete categories of alerts.

•	Delete alerts for a specific date.

•	Delete all alerts in the viewer.

To access Alerts Viewer, log in to Aloha Insight. If you have new alerts waiting for you, the Alerts Waiting - Web Page Dialog screen notifies you of new alerts. Click Yes to view your alerts in Alerts Viewer. If you would like to view your alerts later, click No.

You receive the Alerts Waiting box upon login only when you receive an alert with ‘Notify subscriber of Alert at login to Insight’ selected on the Message tab in the Alerts Setup wizard.
