You need to be comfortable writing your own cascading style sheets (CSS) to modify your own style sheet. Consult the World Wide Web Consortium or W3C, for more information on writing your own cascading style sheet.
1.
2. Type your title text. This is the title your members see at the top of both the login and profile/balance pages.
3. Type any instructional text you want to provide your customers on the profile/balance page.
4. Select Display Company Logo to have your company logo appear on the login and profile/balance pages. This step is optional. If you select ‘Display Company Logo,’ type the full URL address to the logo.
5. Select Display Link to Home Page to place a link to your company home page at the bottom of the MemberLink login and profile/balance pages. If you do not select ‘Display Link to Home Page,’ continue to step 6; otherwise, complete the following steps:
a. Type the text to direct your guests back to your company home page in ‘Home page link text.’
b. Type the full URL path to your company home page in ‘Home page link URL.’
6. Define the look and feel of the login and the profile/balance pages. You can select one of the six pre-designed styles from the ‘Use MemberLink style’ drop-down list, or modify the MemberLink CSS file.
7. Select a preview mode to view.
8.
9. Copy the unique company URL of your MemberLink login page and paste it on your company Web site as a link. This is the URL your customers will use when accessing your company MemberLink login page.
10. Click Save.
You configure the type of security validation used for MemberLink in Card Setup, depending on the card type. For Stored Value refer to Configuring the Stored Value Settings Tab in Card Setup. For Loyalty and combination Stored Value/Loyalty cards, refer to Configuring the Loyalty Settings Tab in Card Setup. When selecting a form of security validation, use a value that remains static for your customers. Phone numbers and favorite sports teams can change; however, a birth date does not change.
