Working with Store Configuration In the Store Configuration wizard, you configure the amount of gift card information that resides at the local store, and set auto-approve thresholds and connection frequencies. These settings determine how and when the store communicates with the central database. Establish the in-store database options first, and then define the auto-approve thresholds and connection frequencies. You configure most stores with the same settings; therefore, access the wizard through Company Setup to define the standard setup for gift cards. Accessing the Store Configuration wizard through Company Setup makes changes globally to all stores. If you need to make changes to individual stores access the wizard through Site Setup to override the standard settings for a specific store. Your access and rights to the Store Configuration wizard depend on your security settings. Establish security settings in Security Class Setup within Aloha Insight. Use the In-Store Database tabs to configure the amount of gift card information that resides at the local store and to configure purge thresholds for stores that warehouse a gift card database.
