About Drilldown Viewer

Use Drilldown Viewer as an interactive sales-analysis tool to display your data in a report layout format over the Internet. Your security access rights determine the data available to you. For example, if you are a restaurant manager, you may be able to view data for your store only; whereas, if you are a regional manager, you may be able to view data for all stores within your region.

Depending on your access rights, you select a store, region, or area, the date or dates to view, and a top-level report option, such as Category Sales, Hourly Sales, Menu, and Labor. Drilldown Viewer compiles and displays information specific to your selections on the screen, and provides additional links so you can perform further analysis down to the lowest level of detail available for the selected report option.

For example, as a store manager, you can use Drilldown Viewer to help manage your labor costs. Select your store, the beginning and ending dates, and the Labor report option. Drilldown Viewer compiles the information and displays it on the screen. You can quickly see any overtime hours and the job position from which the hours are being generated. Select a job position to dig deeper and determine exactly which employee(s) are working the overtime, then adjust their schedule(s) accordingly.

As a regional manager, you can use Drilldown Viewer to determine how the sales are going for a new special you are offering. Select the region, the beginning and ending dates, and the Menu report option. Drilldown Viewer compiles the information and displays it on the screen. Select the category for the item, to narrow the item choices, or click the link for the item. Drilldown Viewer displays the total sales by date for the item, as well as the sales by the hour for the item. You can click a specific hour to see the store(s) in which the item was sold. Then click a particular store to get down to check level detail. Or, you can select a store, instead of an entire region, to determine how the special is doing at one particular store location.
