Selecting a Store The Store Selection screen has two sections: ‘Use Selected Stores,’ and ‘Use a Saved Report.’ These sections work independently of each other and enable you to create new report settings for a report, or to run a report using already established settings. If any selections are made in one of the sections, the options in the other section are not operable. Use a Saved Report Use this section to run a report using saved settings or a report designated as a Company Report. A report in red designates it as a Company Report. You must have security access to run a saved report. You can prevent users from modifying saved reports, by not assigning the ‘Use Saved Report Settings’ security right from their security class in Security Class Setup. Saved Report — Enables you to select a previously saved report setting from the list. If you have not run the report previously or saved the report settings, the ‘Use a Saved Report’ section is not available. If you select ‘Use a Saved Report,’ a prompt appears verifying you want to use the saved report. Use Selected Stores Use this section to create new settings for a report, beginning with the selection of the stores to include in the report. When you select ‘Use Selected Stores’, you must select either ‘My Home’, ‘Selected’, or ‘All Stores.’ Your security access determines the selections available in this section, and your ability to define new report settings. Selecting ‘Use Selected Stores’ disables ‘Use a Saved Report.’ My Home — Generates a report based on your home store, region, area, or store group. You must select one of the following: area, region, store, or store group to define the criteria for the report. You define the stores, regions, areas, and store groups a user can access in User Account Setup. Selected — Generates a report on a selected area, region, store group, or store. Click to open a new window with the appropriate selection wizard. For example, if you select Area in the ‘Selected’ drop-down list, you must select the area on the Area Included in this Report screen. • Area • Region • Store Group • Store All Stores — Generates a report based on all stores available with your security access.
