Sending a Report to Your Portal
You can create a report and send it to your Portal to view at a later time. For example, you can schedule your 10 favorite reports in Reports Viewer and have them already processed and waiting for you on your Portal each morning when you arrive. You can send a report to your Portal, or to the Portal of another user.
You select the report category and the report you want to generate. After selecting the report, you select additional options for the report, such as the stores, areas, regions, or store groups included in the report, and date ranges for the report.
To send a report to your Portal:

Select Aloha Insight > Reports Viewer.

Select the category of the report in the ‘Category’ drop-down list.

Click Next.

Select Use Selected Stores. Refer to Store Selection for more information.

Select one of the following:
The ‘My Home’ and ‘Selected’ options require you to make additional selections. Refer to Store Selection for more information.
If you select ‘My Home,’ you must choose an area, region, store, or store group from the ‘My Home’ drop-down list.
If you select ‘Selected,’ you must complete the following steps:

Select an area, region, store, or store group from the ‘Selected’ drop-down list.

Select the specific area, region, store, or store group in the list box that you want to include on the report.

Click Next to return to the Store Selection screen.

Click the Report Settings tab.

Select Use Selected Date Range and then select the predefined date range from the drop-down list, or select Use Custom Date Range to enter a specific range of dates in the ‘Start Date’ and ‘End Date’ text boxes. Refer to the Report Settings tab for more information.

Select List the Report on the Portal.

Type a unique, meaningful name for the report in the ‘Report Name’ text box. This is the name that identifies the report on the Portal.

Select List Stores Separately to list each store individually on the report. This check box is optional and may not be present when scheduling some reports.

Select List Dates Separately to list dates separately on the report. This check box is optional and may not be present when scheduling some reports.
You may have additional selections based on the report you are scheduling, such as selecting the categories that display on a menu report.

Select the format for the report from the ‘Please select the file type for this report’ drop-down list.

Click Save.

If you want to view the report before sending it to the Portal, select View the Report Now, and then click View to display the report.
To send a report to the Portal of another user:

Complete steps 1-14 in ‘Send a Report to Portal,’ and continue with the following procedure:

Click the Report Schedule tab.
3.
Select Schedule Report on the Report Schedule tab.
4.
Select the hour and minutes for the report to run, using a 24-hour clock, from the ‘Run Report at’ drop-down lists.
5.
Select a time zone. This setting overrides the ‘Default Time Zone’ setting in Company Setup.
6.
Enter the start date and end date for the report to run. Type the last date you want the report to run in the ‘End Date’ text box.
7.
Select the delivery frequency of the report. When you select an option, it enables additional selections that pertain to the scheduling interval for the report.
8.
Select Send Report to Other Users.
9.
Select the subscriber group to receive the report from the ‘Subscriber Groups’ drop-down list.
