Working with the Store Setup Tab
Use the Store Setup tab to enter the store information, such as the address, region, and area for the store. You must complete all options identified with a red asterisk.
Store ID
Displays the numeric ID for the store.
Store Name
Displays the name of the store entered on the Adding a New Store screen.
Short Store Name
Contains an abbreviated store name. The Pulse platform uses the abbreviated name due to space being limited on a mobile device. You can type a name up to 15 characters in the ‘Short Store Name’ text box.
Open Date
Indicates the date the store started using Aloha. Enter the date in mm/dd/yyyy format, or click to display a calendar from which to select the date. Aloha Insight support uses ‘Open Date’ to determine if prior polling data exists for populating your Aloha Insight data warehouse.
Phone Number
Displays the phone number. Type the voice phone number for the direct line to the back office phone, if one exists.
Address, City, State, and Zip Code
Indicates the physical address for the store.
Country
Indicates the country where the store resides.
Store Hours
Specifies the hour the store opens and closes. Select the hour and minute the store opens and closes from the drop-down lists.
Open 24 Hours
Specifies the store is open 24 hours. Selecting ‘Store is Open 24 Hours’ disables the ‘Close Hour’ drop-down list.
Region
Specifies the region where the store resides. Click Select to display the Region Selected dialog box to select the region. When you click Select, you must have security access to assign the store to a region.
The ‘Currently Selected’ text box contains the current region and region ID assigned to the store. This is read-only text. If a region has not been assigned, ‘Currently Selected’ displays the word “None.”
Area
Specifies the area where the store resides. Click Select to display the Area Selected dialog box and select the area. When you click Select, you must have security access to assign the store to an area.
The ‘Currently Selected’ text box contains the current area and area ID assigned to the store. This is read-only text. If an area has not been assigned, ‘Currently Selected’ displays the word “None.”
Store Licensing and Desired Installation Date
You select which license you want for the store. You can license a store for Aloha Insight, Stored Value/Stored Value Terminal Edition, Loyalty, and HR Bridge. You only need to license the stores that use the module. For example, you own 15 stores throughout the southwest in New Mexico, Colorado, and Arizona. You can license all your stores for Aloha Insight, but license only the stores in Denver and Tucson for Stored Value and Loyalty.
If you are editing a store, the check box indicates the modules for which the store is currently licensed and the date of the installation. To make changes to the status of the store, you must have adequate security access.

Insight

Stored Value/Stored Value TE
Indicates you want to license the store to use Stored Value/Stored Value Terminal Edition. Type the date, or click to display a calendar from which to select the date. Aloha Insight support uses the date entered here to determine when to install Stored Value components.
Loyalty
Indicates you want to license the store to use Loyalty. Type the date, or click to display a calendar from which to select the date. Aloha Insight support uses the date entered here to determine when to install Loyalty components.
HR Bridge
Indicates you want to license the store to use HR Bridge. Type the date, or click to display a calendar from which to select the date. Aloha Insight support uses the date entered here to determine when to install HR Bridge components.
Software Key #
Aloha Insight, Stored Value, Loyalty, and HR Bridge requires you to enter your POS software key number. Contact your support technician for information on locating your software key number.
Aloha POS Software Key #
Contains the POS software key number.
Pulse Store Settings
Use the Pulse Store Settings to define the ID Pulse uses for the store and select the POS type used at the store.
Pulse Store ID
Contains the identification used by the Pulse platform to identify the store.
POS Type
Contains the type of POS used at the store. Select the POS type from the drop-down list.
Aloha Stored Value Configuration Button
If you are licensed to use Aloha Stored Values, you can access the Stored Value Store Configuration wizard from Site Setup on the Store Setup tab. Accessing the Stored Value Store Configuration wizard from Store Setup makes changes to individual stores in the company. If you need to make global changes to all stores in your company, access the Stored Value Store Configuration wizard in the Company Setup wizard. For more information on Stored Value cards, refer to Stored Value help.
Sales Projections Button
Click Sales Projections to access the Projected Sales Setup wizard to configure your projected sales for the individual store. Changes made in Site Setup apply only to the selected store. To make changes to your company projected sales, access the Projected Sales wizard through Company Setup.
Store Closed Days Button
Click Store Closed Days to access the Store Close Days wizard to configure the days of the week a store is not in operation. Changes made in Site Setup apply only to the selected store. To make changes to your entire company access the Store Close Days wizard through Company Setup.
