Aloha Loyalty Member FAQ
Q. How can I use the Loyalty Member?
A. You can use Loyalty Member to see a large snapshot of Loyalty members and view their activity. You can then select individual members and view a snapshot of their individual history. For example, you can search for all the members that used their card in the last 30 days. With this information, you can determine who signed-up in that time span and came back to visit your store again. If you select an individual member, you can access all the way down to check level detail and view which items they are ordering on your menu.
Q. How do I query for Loyalty members born in a specific month?
A. You can search your Loyalty database for all members that have birthdays in a specific month. Select Member Birthday from the ‘Select Filter’ drop-down list. Type the month and date, such as 07/01 in the first ‘Enter Date Range’ text box. Type the month and last date of the month in the second text box, such as 07/31. The system will return all members that have a birthday within the month of July.
Q. Why would I add a member before they come in to the restaurant?
A. You may want to add a member that has an advance reservation and present the card to the guest as a gift. You can assign your future guest a Loyalty number in advance as a convenience or as an incentive to visit your stores. Regardless of whether the member is issued their card from the store or before they come into the store, your guest can start earning bonus plan credit immediately upon their first card use.
Q. What is the difference between the Sign-Up Date and Anniversary Date?
A. An anniversary date is a date that is important to your Loyalty member. The Sign-up date is the date your Loyalty member first used their card and became a member, or the date the member was added as a Loyalty member. The sign-up date is automatically tracked by the Loyalty system. If you wish to track an anniversary date for the member, such as their wedding anniversary, you must enter this date into the Loyalty Member.
Q. Why are some of the fields on the Edit Profile screen not active?
A. You define the fields your company chooses to collect using the Loyalty Configuration. For example, you may elect not to capture an anniversary date, but would rather capture their birthday instead. You can run a promotion based on the member’s birthday, such as a free birthday lunch. The Edit Profile screen only enables the fields your company collects.
Q. Can a member start accumulating rewards before entering their information in the Loyalty Member?
A. Yes, the member starts accumulating plan credit the very first time you assign their card to a check.
