Working with the Pulse Settings Tab Use the Pulse Settings tab to define which employees in your company have access to Pulse and define the short names for your stores. Pulse User Access The Pulse User Access settings enable you to define the employees that have access to Pulse. There are two list boxes which contain the users that do not have access and the user that have access to Pulse. To grant a user access to Pulse, select the name in the “Unassigned’ list and use the arrow to move the name to the ‘Assigned’ list. Unassigned — Contains all active users that do not have access to Pulse. Users appear in alphabetical order. Assigned — Contains all active users that have access to Pulse. Pulse Store Name Setup Use the Pulse Store Name Setup to define the short name used in Pulse. Mobile devices are limited to the number of characters that can appear on the screen. Type a shorter name for a store in the text box next to the long store name. Store ID — Contains the store ID assigned to the store in Site Setup. Store Name — Contains the long name of the store as defined in Site Setup. Short Store Name — Contains the new short name the Pulse Platform uses for the store.
