Working with Custom Line Items
Use the Custom Line Item wizard to create the custom line items you add to your reports and alerts. A custom line item contains specific pieces of data that you want to report. A custom line item consists of the following components:
The Custom Line Item wizard displays the custom line items you created. The list box contains the following:
Custom Line Item Name
Contains the name entered for the custom line item on the Custom Line Item Properties screen.
Last Modified
Contains the date the custom line item was last modified.
Modified By
Contains the name of the person who last edited the line item.
Select ‘Show All Custom Line Items’ to view custom line items created by other users. You must have appropriate security access to view all custom line items.
When you select a line item in the list box, the formula displays underneath the list box as a read-only statement. This feature allows you to view the formula of any custom line item.
To view the properties of an existing custom line item, select the line item and click View Properties. This allows you to read a description of the custom line item, and determine the category from which you can obtain the custom line item when building reports in the Reports Builder module.
Delete Button
To delete a custom line item:
1.
Select the custom line item.
2.
Click Delete. The system checks to see if the line item is in use. If the line item is in use, a prompt displays notifying you to delete the line item from all reports or alerts.
3.
Click Yes on the Confirm Delete screen.
