Getting Started with Security Classes
The Welcome to the Security Class Setup wizard displays the security classes created by your company. From this screen, you can add new security classes, edit existing security classes, copy security class settings from one security class to another, and delete security classes.
If you are a new customer to Aloha Insight and it is the first time you are accessing Security Class Setup wizard, you must assign each user to a security class.
Security Class Name
Contains all security classes defined by your company. Security classes must have a unique name, such as Regional Managers, Store Managers, or Corporate Office.
User Count
Contains the number of users contained in the security class.
Add

Edit
To edit a security class, select the security class in the list box, and click Edit. To edit a security class, you must be assigned to a security class that can edit security classes.
Delete
To delete a security class, select a security class with a user count of zero in the list box and click Delete. Aloha Insight prevents you from deleting a security class when users are assigned to the security class because every user must be assigned to a security class. If the security class has a user count greater than or equal to one, the system prevents you from deleting the security class.
If you want to delete a security class that contains a user, you should access the User Account Setup wizard, and sort the list by security class. Locate the security class, and assign the users to another security class. Access Security Class Setup wizard again, and select the security class and click Delete.
Copy
Select a security class in the list box and click Copy to copy settings from one security class to a new security class. Copying settings to a new security class enables you to start with pre-configured settings and can save time when creating new security classes. For example, create a “General Manager” security class and copy the settings as a starting point for your “Store Manager” security class. You can then make modifications to the “Store Manager” security class as necessary.
