Working with User Account Setup Wizard
The Welcome to User Account Setup wizard displays a list of users and their account status. From the Welcome to User Account Setup wizard you can:
User Name
Displays the first and last name of the user. Click the ‘User Name’ column to alphabetically sort by the first name. The default view contains only active accounts; however, you can view inactive and active accounts by selecting ‘Show Inactive Users.’ Refer to ‘Show Inactive Users’ for more information.
Security Class
Displays the name of the security class assigned to the user. Click the ‘Security Class’ column to sort by security class. This enables you to view all users assigned to a specific security class.
Active
Indicates the status of the user account. If you have security rights, you can make users active or inactive by clearing the check box. If you do not have security rights, the check box displays the status, but you cannot edit the check box.
For example, when an employee leaves the company, make them inactive to prohibit them from accessing your Aloha Insight Web site, and receiving reports and alerts. Any report or alert created by the inactive employee remains active and continues to get sent to active subscribers.
Locked
Indicates a locked account. An account becomes locked when a user enters the wrong password too many times. You define the number of times it takes to lock an account in the Security Class wizard. When a user has a check mark in the locked column, the user cannot access Aloha Insight. Clear the check mark to unlock the user. You must have security access to unlock a user’s account. You can also use this feature to deactivate an employee from the system.
Show Inactive Users
The User Account Setup wizard defaults to showing only active users. Select ‘Show Inactive Users’ to show both your inactive and active users in the User Name column.
Login As requires you to contact eSupport and request to have access rights to Login As. Typically, eSupport has access to Login As, and it enables a member of support to view and troubleshoot issues. Instead of eSupport calling and obtaining a log in and password to view an issue, they can use Login As to see the system exactly like the end-user. To maintain a secure system, an audit trail tracks the user using Login As, thus preventing any security issues.
If you cannot select the Add, Edit, Delete, or Copy buttons, you do not have security access. Contact your system administrator for security access.
