Configuring Projected Sales Setup
Use the Sales Projection screen to define projected sales settings for your company.
Number of weeks used in sales projections
Designates the number of weeks on which to base your sales projections. The number of weeks selected controls how many weeks display in the ‘Use Week’ column. You can select from zero to ten weeks.
Use Week
Establishes the prior week(s) to base sales projection amounts. You can use the following options to base sales projection data:
Weight
Applies a weight to the week selected from the ‘Use Week’ column when calculating projected sales. You can apply weights from 5 percent to 100 percent. The total for all weeks must equal 100%.
Zero/Null Handling
Determines how to handle null (zero) values in the sales projection. Two options are available:
Do Not Include in Calculation
Calculates sales projections based on days that stores were polled and that generated sales above zero.
Include in Calculation
Calculates sales projections based on days that the stores were either not polled or that generated zero sales.
