Name
Identifies the report. Type a unique name up to 50 characters.
Description
Helps to easily identify the data in the report at a later date. Entering a description is optional.
Report Style
Designates the format and style of the report.
Select one of the following predefined styles for the report:
Great Plains Dynamics, Lawson GL Export, and Mas 90 are report styles that coincide with their respective general ledger systems.
If you select a style that includes subtotals, include line items with the same type of value. All line items should contain either a dollar amount or quantity value. For example, if a dollar amount line item for $2.10 is added to a quantity value line item of 10, the result is $2.20; the resulting subtotal is meaningless.
Use the Graphical - Bar report style with multiple line items per group. Keep the line item name to a minimum, due to formatting issues that may occur with the use of this report style
If you select to use a report style formatted with Groups on Top, Days on Top, or Stores on Top, keep the number of report groups and line items to a minimum.
Report Category
Specifies the category of the new report in Reports wizard.
